Bengt Olausson

Professional accordionist, musician, composer and arranger (born 1964)
First accordion lessons at the age of seven. Studied at the Academy of Music in Malmö from 1984-1988 with Lars Holm, instrumental and ensemble pedagogue, majoring in accordion. Secondary instruments: piano, clarinet and saxophone.
Further trainings in choral methodology, ensemble playing and big band, studio recording technique and music production.
Recurring engagements as a musician and guest lecturer for workshops of the Accordion Festival of the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm.
Bengt Olausson has over 30 years of professional experience as a music teacher at the municipal cultural school in Falköping. He is a theatre musician, conductor and arranger at the following institutions: Malmö Municipal Theatre, Musik i Syd, Gothenburg State Opera and Royal Opera in Stockholm.
Numerous tours with Swedish artists and musicians, which result among other things in the participation in Swedish radio and television.
Founder of the company Uppdrag Musik 2017.
Commissioned composer and arranger for over 600 works with various clients from the Swedish music scene as well as professional commissioned musicians for public and private concert engagements. Publisher of ensemble and orchestral material within the Notposten- und Norsk Noteservice-Verlag.
