Christine Krähemann-Widmer

Christine Krähemann-Widmer was born in Switzerland in 1975. At the age of 9 she got her first accordion lessons. Later she started playing on the Schwyzerörgeli. In 1994 she completed her training as an accordion teacher. Since her successful graduation, she has taught at various music schools. To this end, she conducted various accordion orchestras and led student ensembles. As a musician she took part in various theatre productions. Since 2003 she has been working on music kinesiology, which influences her entire oeuvre. In 2005/06 she attended the postgraduate course "Swiss Folk Music" at the Lucerne University of Music. In 2020, she completed the MAS in "Extended Music Education" at the Zurich University of the Arts. At the moment she teaches accordion, Schwyzerörgeli and ensemble playing with much joy and commitment at two Thurgau music schools.
