Bernhard Kohlhauf, born 1973

received his first accordion lessons at the age of eight and after graduating from high school studied accordion, piano and double bass in music education and art courses at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich and at the Nuremberg University of Music - artistic diploma with distinction. Further studies led him to master classes with Prof. Elsbeth Moser, Richard Galliano and Stefan Hussong. Important teachers for the thoroughbred musician are the Munich accordion world champion Georg Schwenk and the Kreuth accordion and zither player Sepp Winkler.

Freelance musician and composer, stage and orchestra musician in Bavarian theaters and opera houses and symphony orchestras.

Composer, arranger and organist of Catholic church music.

Regular guest performances with the Bavarian State Orchestra in Munich, the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Gärtnerplatztheater and others.

Regular organist and cantor work in the Catholic churches of Ruhpolding, Reit im Winkl, Traunreut, Traunstein Archbishop's Seminary of St. Michael
