Anders Grøthe

Anders Grøthe (born 1944) studied musicology at the university of his hometown of Trondheim in Norway. He completed his accordion studies in Trossingen. He finalised his diploma studies in composition at the Oslo Academy of Music.

In younger years, Anders Grøthe was very active as a musician. Small stage concerts and appearances on radio/television were also part of his sphere of activity as well as theater music and engagements as a studio musician. Later he devoted himself more and more to accordion lessons on various levels. Numerous compositions and arrangements were created with a focus on educational play literature. This resulted in several sheet music books.

Anders Grøthe has always been interested in the construction details of the accordion and so some patents were developed that go back to his ideas.
