Christine Fischer-Fahs

Born in 1963, after graduating from high school, she studied at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen. This was followed by years of active concert activity with the Trossinger Accordion Ensemble, world premieres, competition wins, radio funk and CD recordings. At the same time, a teaching assignment at the Municipal Music School in Esslingen and conducting and teaching with various orchestras: in Gundremmingen, Köngen and Wendlingen. Christine Fischer-Fahs is a sought-after lecturer for further training measures of the DHV (i.e. Easter Work Week Trossingen, Academy in Remscheid, Easter Seminar of the Accordion Youth Baden-Württemberg), in addition, she is active as a juror at regional and national level. For more than 30 years, Christine Fischer-Fahs has been responsible for youth training and the direction of the youth orchestras of the Baltmannsweiler Accordion Orchestra. Top rankings of their students at "Jugend Musiziert", at the Landesmusiktag Baden-Württemberg and the German Accordion Music Prize testify to the high quality of their teaching. Particularly noteworthy are several 1st and 2nd places at the "World Music Festivals" in Innsbruck with orchestras led by her, most recently in 2016 the 1st place with the Ensemble REUNION in the category Ensembles Höchststufe.
