Kamil Dmochowski

He studied at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Dr. Piotr Cho?o?owicz and Dr. Marcin Jablonski, at the Detmold University of Music under the direction of Dr. Maciej Fr?ckiewicz, and at the Université de Montréal in the class of Joseph Petric.

He is a prize winner of numerous national and international competitions in the solo categories (Academic Accordion Competition "Akorde-ONLINE", Poland - Grand Prix, International Accordion Competition "Kaunas Sonorum", Kaunas, Lithuania - 3rd place, 44. International Accordion Competition "Naujene 2014", Dyneburg, Latvia - 1st place and chamber music (International Accordion Days, Prague, Czech Republic - Gold Medal, 44th International Accordion Competition, Pula, Croatia - 1st place, International Accordion Competition, Vilnius, Lithuania - 1st and 2nd place).

He has performed in Poland, Germany, Croatia, Canada, Norway, and Lithuania, including at the "Frakzionen 2023 - New Music Festival" in Bielefeld and the "5th Krakow Accordion Festival." As a chamber musician, he has performed in ensembles such as the Stok?osa Collective Orchestra, the International Accordion Orchestra, the Ensemble Earquake, the Ensemble Reflektor, the Ensemble Bridge of Sound, and the L'Ensemble de musique contemporaine de l'Université de Montréal.

In addition to his concert activities, he has also appeared twice as a speaker at the
1st Accordion Seminar at the Detmold University of Music and at the
1st Accofonia Academic Student Conference at the Katowice University of Music.

He refined his skills in masterclasses under the guidance of teachers such as Geir Draugsvoll (Denmark), Veli Kujala (Finland), Volodymyr Runchak, Artem Nizhnik (Ukraine), Raimondas Sviackevi?ius (Lithuania), Yurii Shishkin, Alexander Selivanov (Russia), W?odzimierz Lech Puchnowski, Jerzy Jurek, Klaudiusz Baran, Jerzy Kaszuba, Pawe? Zaga?czyk, and Rafa? ?uc.
He is a scholarship holder of the programs of the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, the Rector of the Katowice Academy of Music, and the National Fund for Children.
