Markus Brand

Born in 1971 in Kemnath City - Upper Palatinate.

At the age of 9 he began accordion lessons. Even as a teenager he devoted himself to light music, especially folk music. At the age of 16 he joined a trio which became known nationwide as the Silberbach Trio in 1993 when they recorded their first CD. During this time he also learned to play the Styrian harmonica.

Since 1999 he has been travelling beyond the borders of Bavaria as a solo entertainer and in 2005 he founded the Harmonika-Haus, a specialist shop for harmonicas and accordions. In 2008 he launched his own accordion brand "Silberbach".

As "Limex Einbaucenter Oberpfalz" he refines the instruments with MIDI and microphone electronics.

He also offers lessons on the Styrian harmonica.
