Angelika Jekic

Born 1963 in Augsburg; first accordion classes at the age of 7; afterwards lessons in guitar and piano; 1980-1983 studies at the Hohner conservatory in Trossingen in the main subject accordion; subsidiary subject: musical early education; attendances in numerous music school classes for early education; 1983 state examination as music teacher; afterwards activities in elementary musical education and in recorder and accordion in various music schools; 1988 own music school in Augsburg; responsible for musical early eduction, music classes in early instrumental education, accordion youth orchestra; since 1992 cooperation with the founding pedagogue of the program “Gemeinsam Musizieren/Musikgartenprogramm” Dr. Lorna Lutz Heyge; development of the program for Musikgarten classes (early musical education for children between the age of 18 months and 4 years) in Augsburg; 1995 starting as a lecturer for Musikgarten classes; since 1997 independent trainee for further musical education; further studies in psychology, kinsesiology and education at the Orff-Institut in Salzburg; participation at workshops for children’s dance and folkdance; Since 2001 trainee for music teacher regarding Musikgarten workshops in cooperation with Schott, Mainz;
