After our edition “Weihnachtslieder für Akkordeon” is intended for beginners in the first and second year of lessons, the follow-up booklet “Christmas is coming soon” is now available with a beautiful selection of 44 Christmas songs on a total of 64 pages in a practical ring binding.
When making the selection, we deliberately chose a healthy mix of very well-known and less well-known Christmas songs. Some forgotten Christmas melodies have also been musically polished up and can be found in this booklet. This is intended to give the rich treasure of traditional Christmas songs from German-speaking countries the attention it deserves.
The Christmas songs are mostly set in two parts and have lyrics. In addition to the usual bass chord accompaniment, there are also single note passages on the bass side, so that the songs are presented in a beautiful and good-sounding musical guise. When choosing the key, care was taken to ensure that the pitch was good for those singing along.
As many of the lyrics could only be printed relatively small due to space constraints, we have decided to provide a separate lyrics booklet in the “Free notes” section as a PDF for free download. This means that you can sing along devoutly or exuberantly as you please. We wish everyone involved lots of fun and a lovely Christmas together with “Weihnachten ist bald”!
