The spiritual 'Amen' served as a source of ideas for demanding solo variations for accordion. At the beginning there is the simple theme, which first develops in 3 voices and then merges into a jazz harmony. A quasi-improvisational part with a lot of sixteenth movement then abruptly passes into a calm, long-winded variant. Afterwards, an energetic unison asserts itself, which directly creates the connection to a rhythmic part. In the end, the familiar theme returns.
Over three and a half minutes an exciting and varied accordion solo for the advanced player in lecture quality.
